Personal Protective Equipment Training

There has been a lot of hue and cry in virtually all parts of the world with regards to the use of obsolete and outdated equipments used in mining camps and other manufacturing units. Inflammable heat-resistant gear, helmet, eye gear and et al together constitute the personal protective equipment. It is for the safety and well-being of one’s self to put on this gear while engaging him/her in a task that is likely to cause him/her any sort of injury or disability. CSI has been on the forefront in advocating the use of this gear at all times. It has gone a long way in an attempt to ensure that people exercise their right to safety in whatever task they take up. It has issued general directives to help people against any electrical hazards, blunt impacts, chemicals, infections and has always pitched for the use of quality and certified protective gear. The gift of human life is precious and shouldn’t be wasted or squandered by using a mediocre protective gear. What requires on our part is a firm resolution and determination to fight the perils of life through preparedness and effective and standard personal protective equipment.
